Your hair is one of your best features, and the first thing that people notice about you. Sadly, hair loss and thinning are becoming increasingly common in a majority of people out there.
If you have been facing mild hair fall problems, then you can resort to age old home remedies that can help promote hair growth and bring back life to your long locks. Here are some everyday kitchen ingredients that you can use as hair mask:
Coconut oil can penetrate deep into your hair shafts and prevent protein loss. This helps reduce hair damage and breakage often caused by physical trauma like styling and use of harsh products.
Take 1-2 tablespoons of virgin coconut oil. Massage it gently into your scalp and hair. Leave it on for at least an hour before rinsing it off with a mild cleanser .Follow up with a conditioner. You may do this at least two times a week.
Yogurt is a rich source of probiotics, which are known to lead to an acidic pH. An acidic pH can alter your hair cuticles, giving you a shinier mane and preventing damage that may trigger hair breakage and loss. Take a bowl full of yogurt and apply it on your scalp and hairs. Eating yogurt everyday can help your hair grow stronger.
Egg Hair Mask
We know how tough bearing that odour can be but once your nostrils get used to it, the rest of your path to thicker locks is pretty smooth. Rich in sulphur, phosphorous, and protein, eggs make for an excellent at-home hair loss treatment. Mix one egg white with a teaspoon of Olive Oil and Honey and apply the paste from root to tips. Rinse after 20 minutes with a mild shampoo.
Aloe Vera gel can do wonders for your hair. Massage your scalp gently with the aloe gel and leave in for some time. Then rinse with lukewarm water. It must be noted that aloe gel, wheat germ oil and coconut milk is a great treatment for hair fall.
Neem & Amla
Indian herbs like neem and amla can also be used to stop hair loss. You can either use the oil of neem or amla or can make its paste and apply it on your hairs.
